They all sit in the G Center, they are spaced evenly around the wheel, and they never move. The equinox point drifts backward through the wheel, about one gate every 400 years (1615 to 2027 is 412). Whatever gate sits in a lock is its key, and because the locks are evenly spaced, all eight keys change together. Inside a gate the key walks from line 6 down to line 1. Ra said "in 1615, the equinox went into the 37th gate, into the sixth line." It reached 37.1 at the beginning of the 1960s and moves into 55.6 on February 15, 2027. The four Vessel keys are the global cross: Planning (37/40 | 9/16) until 2027, then the Sleeping Phoenix (55/59 | 34/20) until about 2438, then Contagion. The four Sphinx keys form a second cross, Maya until 2027, then Penetration (51, 57, 53, 54). The date itself is not the output of a formula: Ra said he was given it.
