Ra gave each of the eight G Center gates a name as a lock, and each one has held a key since 1615. On the Vessel of Love side: Gate 25 is the Way, with the key 37. Gate 46 is the Temple, with the key 40. Gate 10 is the Nature, with the key 9. Gate 15 is the Pattern, with the key 16. On the Sphinx side: Gate 2 is the Plan, with the key 42. Gate 1 is the Example, with the key 32. Gate 7 is the Leader, with the key 62. Gate 13 is the Witness, with the key 61. The four Vessel keys, 37, 40, 9 and 16, are exactly the Cross of Planning, which is why that cross names the cycle. Ra walked through these pairs many times, at one point taking the locks two at a time. The locks never move. Only the keys turn, and in February 2027 all eight turn together.
