At one point he says every child born after the Ides of February 2027, Rave or human, will have a dysfunctional channel of synthesis. When he lays out the four stages, the same break is the last of four undated stages that take hundreds of years and applies to carriers of the mutation, and elsewhere he says the earliest mutated children carry only the 55 to 59 stage. Those cannot all be true at once. He also describes the connection as already weakening before 2027. For people alive today nothing changes: if you have 19-49 defined, you keep it, like every other part of your design.
