He describes two streams in it. A stream of telling, running through gates such as 6, 59, 37 and 40, and a stream of taking, the pure absorption rooted in the 55 and the 39. Both are brought together in the 49, which he calls the gate of access. Later he returns to it when explaining how the conscious penta locks together, and says gaps in this circuit would limit how the penta's awareness can be expressed. He was explicit that everything he said about the conscious penta is speculation, and he also said a Rave penta might never form at all.
